Who it's for
Travellers with shoulder and neck stiffness from long-haul flights. Athletes recovering from training. Anyone who's tried lighter massage and said 'a bit harder, please.' If you have specific problem areas, we'll spend more time there.
Deep tissue massage in Istanbul
Deep tissue massage targets the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. It's slower, more focused and noticeably firmer than a Swedish session — the right choice if you carry chronic tension in your neck, shoulders or lower back, or if you've spent the day hunched over a laptop in a hotel room.

Sessions start with a brief consultation — where it hurts, how long it's been there, anything to avoid. I work slowly, layer by layer, with steady forearm and thumb pressure on the trouble spots. It's intense in the moment but never painful; you should always be able to breathe through the pressure.
Drink plenty of water in the 24 hours after a deep tissue session — it helps flush metabolic waste from the worked muscles. Some clients feel a little sore the next day, similar to a good workout; by day two you'll feel noticeably looser.
